4. Pamätník zasadnutia SNR v ČadciThe memorial is on the site of a former parish, where the representatives of Slovak National Council (Ľ. Štúr, J. M. Hurban and military uprising commanders) met at the beginning of December 1848 during the so-called winter campaign of Slovak volunteers fighting for freedom of the Slovak nation. There, the uprising leaders published the “Appeal to the Slovak Nation”. Thirty volunteers joined the warriors in Čadca. The commemorative relief was made by sculptor Vojtech Ihriský.

The memorial is situated on Námestie slobody Square in Čadca, in front of entrance of the Church of St. Bartholomew.
