The settlement of Klokočov ranks among a few exceptional locations where unique spherical sandstone formations can be found, thus making the location of Klokočov a nature reserve.
In addition to its geological importance, this area is protected because of the occurrence of a protected plant, the multi-leaved ribwort. Thanks to its importance and decorativeness, the plant has become a symbol of the Kysuce Protected Area which is a place abundant in other rare and endangered plants and animals.
Access: You shall follow the blue-marked hiking trail that starts on the right side of the main road (in the direction from Čadca to Klokočov). After a relatively steep ascent, you can reach the Klokočov rocks in less than 10-15 minutes.
