bike park snow paradiseBike park Snow Paradise Veľká Rača is set into the beautiful mountain environment of the Kysucké Beskydy 36 km north of Žilina. There are 5 different colour - marked tracks / red, blue, green, yellow and black / for downhill mountain biking with a total length of up to 11 km. Families with children as well as experienced downhill and enduro riders will find the right track to enjoy.

The more challenging tracks contain natural and artificial jumps, waves or banked turns, and their surface is mostly natural.

You can comfortably take your bike to the "Start" of the track with the four-seater cable car in Dedovka. The Bike Park includes sections suitable for adrenaline riding on mountain scooters - the Family track. You can rent a scooter at the exit from the cable car right next to other attractions. You can try riding on the longest bobsleigh track in Central Europe or other attractions that will make your vacation in Snowparadise Veľká Rača even more original!

1.ENDURO

The red marked Enduro track starts from the Marguška location where you can get by a four-seater cable car. You shall get off at the top station in the Dedovka and from there you shall overcome other 650 meters to another cable car called Marguška, where the track starts. The route is mainly intended for experienced riders. It contains a lot of wooden obstacles, jumps and banked turns. The track surface is natural and contains wooden bridges.

2. DOWNHILL PRO
The most demanding black marked track starts from the top station of the Marguška cable car just like the red Enduro track. It leads along the mostly rough natural surface, through a groomed forest road. It is intended for advanced riders and suitable for organizing races or training camps for experienced racers. It contains both natural and artificial obstacles, jumps, banked turns and wooden bridges with jumps of up to 12 meters high.

3. FREE RIDE
The blue marked track leads from the top station of the Dedovka cable car along the forest road to the bottom station of the cable car. Moderately difficult, the track will bring great fun to experienced and less skilled bikers. It contains both natural and artificial jumps, waves, wooden bridges, and banked turns on the purely natural surface with wide clay turns and obstacles.

4. FAMILY
An undemanding green marked track leads from the top station of the Dedovka cable car to its lower - boarding station. The family track running mainly on grassy areas is intended for less skilled riders as there are no difficult jumps or obstacles. It is suitable for downhill riding on mountain scooters, which you can rent at the top station of the Dedovka cable car.

5. MOUNTAIN
The yellow marked track is an easy one for families with children. It is the longest track starting from the top station of the Dedovka cable car. The surface is natural, clay and sometimes grassy. You are guaranteed to enjoy the ride with a mild adrenaline rush.

  • Cyclists ride in the Bike Park at their own risk.
  • Cyclists under the age of 18 can ride in the Bike Park only with the consent of a parent or legal representative.
  • Cyclists under the age of 15 can ride in the Bike Park only when accompanied by a parent or legal representative.
  • Riding in the Bike Park as well as entering the Bike Park is prohibited outside of operating hours and without the purchase of a ticket.
  • Visitors are allowed to enter the Bike Park only with the permission of the Bike park operator.
  • The operator of the Bike Park is authorized to prohibit riding in the Bike Park to a cyclist who does not follow the rules of behaviour in the Bike Park.
  • By purchasing a cable car ticket, the cyclist undertakes to comply with the Rules of Conduct in the Bike Park and acknowledges that he is riding at his own risk and responsibility.
  • The ticket is non-transferable and valid for one person only.
  • The operator does not assume responsibility for damage to property and the health of cyclists.
  • By purchasing a ticket to the Bike Park, the cyclist declares that he has understood the Rules of Conduct in the Bike Park, respects the rules and undertakes to comply.


RULES OF BEHAVIOR IN THE BIKE PARK

1. THE CYCLIST IS REQUIRED to check and properly fasten the saddle on his bicycle before boarding the cable car, as the bicycle is suspended by the saddle while riding on the cable car.

2. ENTERING THE TRACK AND STARTING OFF AFTER STOPPING: Before entering the track, the cyclist is obliged to thoroughly familiarize himself with the track and obstacles in order to assess his ability to handle cycling on the track. A cyclist who has entered the cycle path, stopped and after stopping wants to continue riding, is obliged to make sure that he is not menacing himself or another cyclist.

3. SAFETY OF CYCLING EQUIPMENT: Cyclists may use cycling equipment only in a condition in which the manufacturer ensures safety when using the product. It is essential to use a helmet, gloves, elbow, knee, spine and chest protectors.

4. SPEED AND METHOD OF RIDING: Cyclists riding on the tracks of the Bike Park must have an overview in front of them. Any cyclist must adapt the speed to his abilities and possibilities, the state of the track and individual obstacles.

5. CHOOSING THE DIRECTION OF RIDING IN THE BIKE PARK: Cycling tracks are one-way start - finish, the cyclist must follow the direction of travel determined by the markings of the track.

6. OVERTAKING: Overtaking is prohibited on the cycling track and the cyclist must follow the direction of travel.

7. OBSERVING THE MARKING: The cyclist is obliged to respect the markings on the cycling track.

8. CONSIDERATION TO OTHER PERSONS IN THE BIKE PARK: Everyone on the cycling track is obliged to behave in such a way as not to cause harm to himself or others and not to endanger health and life. A cyclist riding behind another cyclist must not menace the cyclist riding in front of him, he must keep a sufficient distance to leave the cyclist in front of him free space to ride. The distance between cyclists riding along the track must be at least 30 m.

9. FIRST AID: In the event of an accident on the cycling track, the cyclist is obliged to provide assistance and report the accident to the park staff. The reporting point is the valley station of the cable car.

10. GENERAL RULES APPPLICABLE IN THE PARK: Prohibition of riding a bicycle under the influence of alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances. Prohibition of dismantling, modifying, damaging the track, obstacles, and track markings. Prohibition of any activity except cycling. Prohibition of pedestrians. No entry for children unaccompanied by a responsible person. The use of glass containers is prohibited. No smoking and no open fire. Prohibition of pushing the bicycle against the direction of travel. By purchasing a ticket and entering the area of the Bike Park, the visitor undertakes to comply with the Rules of Conduct in the Bike Park and acknowledges that he rides at his own risk and responsibility. The operator does not assume responsibility for damage to property, health, and lives of visitors to the Bike Park.
