The Church in the cenre of the Municipality of Zákopčie is a connection point to the Beskydy - Javorníky cycling route. The connecting trail goes towards the cemetery along the road to the cross at Krátkov settlement.
At the cross, the trail turns left towards Kavickov hill and continues to Trnkov settlement and Petránky hill where it connects to the main route just under the high-voltage line. The main route will take you further to the lookout point.
The main route starts in the settlement Griečov, it passes by the lookout tower with an information panel and a tourist shelter, then it continues to Jakubov hill. There are several interesting places worth a short stop on the route - beautiful views and abstract sculptures of modern art such as Trilobite, Potvor na Vrchrieke. The works were created as part of the Javorníky educational trail in the years 2006–2008 within the frame of a multinational project.
