At the altitude of 860 m above sea level, Javorské is the second highest peak of the Javorské Beskydy (part of the Kysuce Beskydy). It is a massive peak formed by rich sediments of claystone and sandstone of the flysch zone. This massive ridge stretches in the southwest from Čadka to Skalité in the north separating the Oščadnica and Čadečka valley.
The path starts in front of the Tesco supermarket in Čadca and continues to Bukov where you shall turn right in front of the chapel (towards the double cross). On the way to Javorské, you should always follow the red marked route.
After half an hour, you will reach the village of Bryndzárovci, 1.5 hour from Javorské. Further along the road, the contours of Malá Fatra and the highest peak of Kysuce – Veľká Rača begin to emerge slowly.

You shall follow the path to pass Horelická Kykula and reach the intersection 'Pod Javorským'. You will come to the point where the tourist path intersects with the cycling route connecting Čadečka, Drahošanka and Oščadnica. Ascending to Javorské, you will notice that a fairly significant part of the forest has been cut down. Fortunately, the area is covered by newly growing trees. Along the way, there are many hunting lodges - new or at least renovated ones.

In less than two hours of walking, you will reach the top of Javorské. You will be welcome by beautiful views and a nice place with fire pits for roasting or grilling. There is a barbecue grill, several benches, and a shelter to hide from the wind or rain.
The path to Javorské is not just an uphill climb but rather a pleasant walk in breath taking natural scenery. It is worth taking children with you and making a family trip with the option of a barbecue.

From the top of Javorské, you can continue on the red marked path for approximately 2 hours to Skalité or go down the yellow marked path to Oščadnica. Almost all the way down to the centre of Oščadnica, the snow-covered Snowparadise Veľká Rača resort will be in front you. The path passes through the settlement U Kubušov where it connects with the cycling route and ends on the square in Oščadnica. There is a bus stop, which every tired tourist will surely appreciate.
