Ski mountaineering is an increasingly popular winter sport all over the world and in Slovakia, too. In the area of Snowparadise Veľká Rača Oščadnica, ski mountaineers can benefit from many options, while respecting the given rules, of course.
The skiing centre disposes of three marked ascent routes with a total length of approx. 4,300 m. The location is accessible from the locations Dedovka and Lalíky. These routes are marked on the map above. To stay safe, the mountaineers shall always follow the rules of ski mountaineering. We would like to remind you that it is forbidden to enter ski mountaineering routes and slopes from 16:30 to 08:30. There is a danger of being injured by the cables of snow machines and snow groomers preparing the slopes at that time.
You can rent a complete set of skiing equipment (skis, ski boots, belts, poles) in the rental shop right next to the cable car in Dedovka. The offer includes high-quality Cassiar and Ushi skis from the DPS brand, which is a technological leader in ski construction. The DPS company uses carbon fibres and the most advanced aviation materials in the ski constructions. The skis of the brand are lighter, stronger, and more powerful than conventional fiberglass and metal skis.
The rental place is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and evening skiing from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
