At the occasion of the Feast of St. John the Baptist, the patron of our church, a village fair is held in our village every year in June.
Since 2007, the Municipality and the cooperating volunteer fire brigades have been organizing a cultural program in the village centre Pod Hríbom na Majeri. The event is known as the Village Fair and is associated with entertainment, refreshments, stall sales with a variety of products and, attractions for children.
The event begins with the indulgences of services in the parish church. The event is accompanied by the all-day cultural program, where artists of various cultural genres perform. The Village Fair has gained its popularity among the residents of our village, and among guests and natives descended from Zákopčie.
