This was originally a wayside shrine built above an old road (parts of which are still visible). Seven stone steps led from the road to the shrine, and about 3-4 meters to the left, seven wooden steps were later added (they seem to be made of railway sleepers).

Description: This was originally a wayside shrine built above an old road (parts of which are still visible). Seven stone steps led from the road to the shrine, and about 3-4 meters to the left, seven wooden steps were later added (they seem to be made of railway sleepers). The original wayside shrine featured what appeared to be columns in the front, with an arched opening at the top. The current opening is fitted with a new black-brown iron grille. There was likely a grille before, as indicated by the old hinges. Attached to the new grille is a crucified figure, which is certainly not original and is painted to match the grille. Inside the opening is a statue of the Sacred Heart of the Virgin Mary in a blue cloak and a white veil. Beside it stands a smaller porcelain statue of the Virgin Mary holding the Child Jesus. Originally, the shrine was painted light blue and was later repainted in a soft yellow. When the new main road was constructed in the 1970s, this shrine was rebuilt to face the new road with its back side, and the original shrine was remodeled. It was expanded, enclosed, and an opening was added on the side of the newly built road, making the shrine “two-sided.” Inside the new opening is a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. The roof is pyramid-shaped with a double onion dome and a cross at the top, covered in tin.
Surroundings: The wayside shrine is located to the left of road II/487, between two deciduous trees (linden trees), practically across from the Varechovský Potok bus stop. It was originally on a slight rise relative to the old road, but it now aligns with the current main road.
