The original wayside shrine was made of stone and built just above road no. 541 on the left side in the direction from Turzovka to Bytča. Today, a willow and rowan tree grow at the original location.

Statue: Pietà – Our Lady of Sorrows; the alcove contains multiple statues, it is difficult to say if any are original. These include the Sacred Heart of the Virgin Mary, the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus, and approximately three statues of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Description: The original wayside shrine was made of stone and built just above road no. 541 on the left side in the direction from Turzovka to Bytča. Today, a willow and rowan tree grow at the original location (approximately 49.3576286N, 18.5728614E). As it began to lean, local residents decided to demolish it and rebuild it about 8 meters southeast, further from the road and up the slope. The wayside shrine is prismatic in shape with a gabled roof. The lower section and the alcove edge are clad in ceramic tiles. The alcove is arched at the top and is currently protected by a brown plastic window. Above the alcove’s upper edge, a white cross stands out against the light orange facade. The wayside shrine is topped with a tin covering in a dark burgundy colour. At its highest point, a Latin cloverleaf cross made of tin is placed in the gable.
The interior of the alcove is painted white and decorated with thin gold-painted stars.
Surroundings: The wayside shrine is located to the left of road no. 541, positioned at the corner of a garden and incorporated into the fencing of house no. 1038. Two thuja trees grow in the garden behind it.
