Date of Construction: 1876? According to the source, the cross was supposedly brought from Austria by Ján Mlakyta, the informant's grandfather. It is also possible that this is the cross from 1901 from the Jamy-Žilinčári area. However, the description from 1876 seems to match this cross, and its craftsmanship could also suggest it dates back to 1876 (similar to the cross in Hluchánka).

Description: The cast iron cross is painted black, with ornately finished arms, mounted on a sandstone pedestal. At the base of the cross is a cast iron sculpture of a kneeling angel. The inscription INRI is directly on the crossbeam. The silver-colored corpus of the Crucified Christ, as well as the angel figure and the oval plaque framed with a laurel wreath under Christ’s feet, stand out against the black background. The black plaque bears a German Gothic inscription in three lines: "Pochválen buď // JEŽIŠ // KRISTUS" (Praise be to // Jesus // Christ). In the word "Pochválen," the letter "á" is written the other way around. According to the source, this inscription is not original, and what was originally written on the plaque is unknown. The source also mentioned that in the mid-1960s, the cross was broken during winter road maintenance, when flying snow from a snowplow snapped the cross at the point where the plaque is located, also breaking the plaque. The stone pedestal was overturned as well. The informant and some acquaintances repaired the cross, had the plaque welded at the Welding Institute in Bratislava, and the inscription on the plaque was later made by Robert Dočár. There was supposedly an inscription carved into the pedestal, but it is no longer visible, though some traces of the engraved border can still be seen on the sides. As can be observed, someone had painted the pedestal red at some point in the past, though the paint is now partially faded and partially scraped off.
Surroundings: The cross is located approximately at the U Žilinčiarov settlement, to the right of the road leading from the center to the Vrchrieka area, on a slope behind a drainage ditch. The slope is reinforced with a concrete wall and three rows of vegetative tiles. Four wooden poles, connected by chains, are fixed to the retaining wall and form a simple railing. A makeshift bridge made from a wooden pallet crosses the ditch, with four simple stone steps leading up to the retaining wall, from where four more steps lead to the cross. The cross is enclosed by a wooden fence.
