Description: A wooden cross painted brown, significantly weathered by the elements. The crossbeam is protected by a semi-arched metal roof with a serrated edge on both sides and it is slightly turned up outwards at the ends. The roof is reinforced at the bottom by two metal strips. The corpus is painted on a metal sheet, which appears not to be original but rather replaced or restored not long ago, with shading of a decent artistic level. The body is painted in natural tones, with white undergarments around the loins, brown hair and beard, and a pink halo with a yellow edge around Christ’s head. Blood is depicted flowing from the wounds. A lantern, presumably not original, is placed at the lower part of the cross.
Surroundings: The cross is located in the settlement of Predná Šatina, to the left of a forest path leading from Jedľovník. It is enclosed by a small fence made of brown-painted wooden slats topped with a protective metal strip. The cross stands a few meters in the shade of two coniferous trees at the edge of a young forest.
