The bell tower U Greguši was built in 1850 and served the settlers as a church. In the modern history of the village, it was reconstructed and sanctified. The outdoor sculpture named "Dolmen of Life and Death" is a piece of work created by an academic sculptor Milan Greguš (*1934), a native of this settlement permanently living in Bratislava.

The author commented on his work as follows: "I am honoured to be a member of a family that settled here in the highlands and remained loyal for centuries. On every piece of land, my fatherland, I can feel the impulses of life of my wise, brave and responsible ancestors..." The settlement Greguše has an engaging history from the time of the Second World War. In revenge for cooperating with partisans, the settlement was burned down by a fascist unit at Christmas 1944. These were the most difficult times that the residents of the Greguše settlement had to overcome in the past. Today, the settlement is sought after by tourists as a destination set into splendid environment with views of the ridges of the Súľov rocks, or Veľký and Malý Manín in Považie.
