osada klin olesnaThe settlement of Klin in Olešná – the local part of Burkov vrch – is located below the majestic Murinkov peak on the Slovak-Moravian border.

On the other side, across the state border behind the summit ridge of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy, the Czech settlements of Horní and Dolní Lomná are spread out. The immediate proximity to the border of the Klin settlement predisposes the spot to dramatic historical events, but also the neighbour friendships. The small settlement was depopulated over time, today it no longer has permanent residents. On the ridge above the settlement, there stands a stone chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help with a spring of healing water. The chapel and the spring have their own history and secret. The predecessor of the chapel was an original wooden chapel, where the childless couple Nárožní from Olomouc used to come praying between 1932 and 1933. They promised to build a new brick chapel as a sacrifice for the heard prayers.

Worshippers and pilgrims from far and were flooding to the chapel in Klin every year. This tradition was revived in 1990, after a violent interruption in the 1950s. The chapel and its surroundings were modified to their current form in 2017-2018. At the same time, the shelter over the well, which is attributed to miraculous effects, was modified. It is said that a woman who drinks the water will give birth to a child within a year. The sculptor Stanislav Mikovčák placed a metal sculpture “key for happiness” in a niche under a wooden canopy. The couple with the "key to happiness" - a child - is supposed to symbolize the gift of a new life born through the intercession of the Virgin Mary. Next to the chapel, a hiking trail leads from Mosty u Jablunkov through the Velky and Malý Polom hills to the White Cross spot in Klokočov.
