The settlement U Haladeji is on a hill above the area of Lalíky, not far from the lower station of the ski lift (refreshments). You can make a short hike from the parking lot among original wooden houses and enjoy the panorama views to finally reach the chapel.
The original chapel near Haladej was built in 1961. It sheltered a bell consecrated in 1929 and placed only on a wooden structure. The money for this bell was provided by the family Lipták from the village of Závozy, who had emigrated to America. Originally, the bell was supposed to be placed in Závozy, but in order to hear the ringing better, it was placed on a hill in the settlement U Haladeji. The bell was cast in Chomutov and bears the inscription "Saints Cyril and Methodius, pray for us".
The chapel was restored in 1993, however, it had to be demolished in 2015 due to inconvenient statics. A new Chapel dedicated to St. Cyril and Methodius was built with the support of Milan Lipták's family. The interior is decorated with wooden sculptures created by local carvers – Pavel Matejíček and Jozef Jurky.
