At the occasion of the feast of St. Anna, hundreds of believers make a traditional pilgrimage to the chapel in Jelitov, an oasis of silence and peace for all of them contemplating in the middle of a spruce forest near a spring of healing water. The chapel is built just a short distance from the road leading from Staškov to Klokočov.
Chapel of St. Anne, as we know it today, was built in 1937. The chapel is in the centre of a circle with a circumference made by a calvary depicting the seven pains of the Virgin Mary. The chapel is dominated by the central sculpture, the statue of St. Anne with a book in her hand - teachin the Virgin Mary, her daughter, to read. At the end of the 19th century, a wooden cross stood on the site of the chapel, then a wooden chapel dedicated to the Finding of St. Cross was built to be eventually replaced by the Chapel of St. Anne.
