The settlement of Diedova was first mentioned in 1540. The local names Zadedová, Dedovka, Dedová are derived from the original denomination. A yellow-marked hiking trail, which starts at the Snowparadise resort in the parking lot and ends at the Zadedová chapel (Príslop), will lead you to the village of Zadedová,. This route is 2.5 km long and takes 40-50 minutes.

From Zadedová, you can continue to Dedovka - the top station of the cable car or through the Moskáli settlement to the Lalíky area. The chapel not far from the settlement was built in 1948 and serves as a bell tower. Inside the chapel, there is an altar with a statue of the Virgin Mary and carved statues around. Next to the chapel, there is a well with spring water.
